Restaurants on top of UC

• Now serving! We are open for breakfast, lunch and dinner! Check the website for service times at various dining locations.
• Top new gate rates for UC:
  • New rates for faculty and staff:
    • All regular meals: $6.50 (any meal, day of the week)
    • Premium Meals: $7.50 (Premium meals include Global Cafe, Latino Melting Pot Dinner and Thanksgiving Lunch.)

• $1.00 Faculty and Staff Appreciation Day Lunch – September 20th All UMW faculty and staff are invited to dine at UC’s top restaurants on Tuesday, September 20 for just $1.00.^Th. Just show your UMW ID to the cashier. Lunch is served from 11am to 2pm. Please join us!
• Reusable boxes – Available for only $5. Take food home, wash and return the box to the cashier, then get a new, clean box (or token for a box) to use for your next “to-go” meal.

EagleOne

New employee

We are pleased to welcome Patrick Lee as a member of the EagleOne Card Office team. In addition to coordinating the off-campus merchant program, Patrick can assist with any of your EagleOne or sales questions. He can be reached at x1005, or rlee4@umw.edu.

Access to discounts at EagleOne

At the University Bookstore, UMW faculty and staff receive a 10% discount on regularly priced apparel and gift items with their EagleOne card.

Additionally, several companies work with the state of Virginia to offer discounts to state employees. The EagleOne card can be used as identification by regional employees to receive these discounts. For more information, the Virginia Department of Human Resources Management offers this list of employee discounts.

Parking management

New parking manager

2022-2023 Parking

Decals for the 2022-23 school year are now available. Contractor decals expired Aug. 1, so contractors should contact the Parking Management Office to order new decals. Students can purchase online through the Parking Management Portal at SSB or in person in Lee Hall 201B. Faculty/staff declarations do not expire until August 1, 2025. However, new vehicles may be registered at any time.

Postage increase

The UMW and VCE Chair showroom is now located in Lee Hall at the UMW Bookstore!

With campus walking down the aisle, seat selection is now more accessible to the campus community. AndYou have the added benefit of being able to shop the UMW Bookstore for all the new and cool UMW Spirit items. Or maybe to buy that new book you’ve been wanting to read.

Signs clearly show the location of the showroom. Contact Purchasing Services if you have questions or need help with your purchase. The procurement staff is happy to schedule an appointment to meet you in the bookstore. Scan the QR code in the Showroom to access the showroom website and a newly available web form will ensure your selection is done quickly and efficiently.
