About the panel:

Kate Howell She is the Education Maine Program Director where she directs the Maine Career Catalyst, a program focused on expanding internship opportunities and professional development for interns in the state of Maine. Prior to joining Educate Maine, Kate was an HR generalist at a Portland-based biotech company specializing in recruiting, career development and university relations. She brings a wealth of expertise in internship programming and university partnerships, leading the National University Relations Program. Before moving to Maine, Kate worked in various industries and non-profit organizations in New York City and Washington, DC. Kate holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Science from Syracuse University and an SCP certification from the Society for Human Resource Management. Kate is a member of Rotary International and serves as president of the Kenebunkport Club, where she lives with her husband and daughter.

Justin Morrill He is a manager of software engineering and has worked at Tyler Technologies for 12.5 years, starting straight out of college and working in various roles across support, quality assurance and development teams. He has been actively interviewing and hiring for the past 5 years in his current management role.

Brittany Mailman By MedRhythms Inc. He is Head of People and Culture and has been an HR professional for 10 years. She has an extensive background in multiple HR functions at small, private and large, public companies. Brittany is driven by her passion for helping people thrive at work and has been fortunate to work with incredibly talented leaders and teams along the way, shaping her philosophy and style. She is an active member of the local HR community and sits on the board of directors of the Southern Maine HR Association. She lives in South Portland and can usually be found out on her boat with her partner Trevor Skiing in the winter or summer.
