Biff Warren to join the Boulder County Hall of Commerce

Most lawyers pride themselves on making an impact in court. While that may have been true for Bruce “Biff” Warren, principal at Warren, Carlson & Moore LLP in Niwot, Warren was so impressive in another field that they named a field after him – the Biff Warren Baseball Complex on Nimbus Road in Niwot, where Warren coached youth baseball.

Warren will be inducted into the Boulder County Business Hall at a luncheon Sept. 15 at the Embassy Suites by Hilton in Boulder. There, he will join five other individuals or groups as new members of the Hall of Fame.

Warren was born and raised in Creighton, Nebraska and was involved in sports and music. He is the son of a teacher and a lawyer. While his father, Merritt Warren, graduated from the University of Colorado Law School and was a district judge in Nebraska for many years, the younger Warren chose the University of Nebraska for an undergraduate degree and a law degree. Magna graduated cum laude.

In the year He opened his law office in New York in 1975 and founded and serves as managing editor of the Left Hand Valley Courier newspaper.

His interests include community affairs in Niwot including the Niwot Chamber of Commerce, Niwot Youth Sports, Niwot Community Association, Niwot High School Education Foundation, Niwot Environmental Improvement District Advisory Committee, Boulder County Planning Commission, Frasier Meadows Retirement Community and Boulder County United Way. Foundation.

And those were in the past.

Today, president of the New York Cultural Arts Association, Via Mobility Services Inc. Secretary, Secretary of Niwot Baseball Inc., Co-Chairman of the Niwot United Methodist Church Council, Manager of the Rock and Rail Summer Concert Series, Chairman of the Niwot Children’s Park Building Committee and Co-ordinator of the Niwot Community Marching Free Grange Band.

In the year He received the Public Service Award from the Colorado Bar Association in 1993 and the John Marshall Award from Boulder County Legal Services in 2009 for 47 years of volunteer service.

His journalism earned him the 2018 Sports Columnist Award from the Colorado Press Association.

Since 2002, he has served as the baseball coach at Niwot High School, the same year the sports complex was named.

He practices law with specialties in estate planning, commercial contracts, corporate law, probate and real estate.

A profile posted on the New York Business Association’s website reflects the law firm’s friendly nature. “We are committed to fostering a friendly and welcoming environment for our clients, from the baseball memorabilia on the walls to the seasonal holiday cards we send each year. Our attorneys may be dressed in a courtroom, but not in an office environment.”

Warren and his wife, Susan, raised three children and one adopted son.
