Taipei, July 28, 2022 /PRNewswire/ – Taiwanese company ELECLEAN CO. At CES 2022, a multipurpose “Electro Oxide” water filtration system will be introduced, known as ELECLEAN Water. This system is intended for daily water use and for the medical and semiconductor industry. The new system is slated to receive a 2022 CES Innovation Award for Sustainability, Eco-Design and Smart Energy. ELECLEAN CO., LTD will demonstrate the technology at the 2022 CES

“New Life, New Stuff” and will continue to apply its innovation and green electrotechnology as it develops more effective solutions to combat the Covid-19 pandemic. Currently, the company’s new products are included in the Covid-19 Technology Access Pool created by the WHO Regional Office. Africa To share intellectual property and data. Apart from ELECLEAN water, the company has developed ELECLEAN Home Appliance and Field series, he said. Chin Hung ChenCEO of ELECLEAN CO., LTD.

Technology to provide a safe environment

ELECLEAN Co., Ltd uses a technology that converts water into reactive oxygen species (ROS), which, as the name suggests, are highly reactive chemicals derived from oxygen. Water purification at home, and can even meet the strict needs of the medical and semiconductor industries.

Despite their importance in cell signaling, ROS are known to cause damage to lipids, DNA, RNA and proteins as normal products of oxygen metabolism. This effect is partly responsible for aging. There must be a balance between ROS and antioxidants in the body because the harmful effects of pro-oxidative conditions can lead to many health conditions such as ischaemia, diabetes, cervical cancer, alcoholic liver disease and emphysema.

After this body phenomenon, ELECLEAN CO., LTD used the destructive quality of ROS in ELECLEAN water, water into hydrogen peroxide and hydroxyl and superoxide radicals using electrochemical technology with nano-catalyst. These ROS are then incorporated into filter membranes employed during water purification to achieve anti-fouling and sterilization by effectively eliminating bacteria and viruses. This reaction catalyzes ROS back into water and is non-toxic and extremely safe.

AI technology is applied to prevent human errors

At the start of the purification process, raw water passes through a sand filter to remove larger particles before the organic matter is treated with activated carbon. The ELECLEAN reactor module, controlled by artificial intelligence (AI), then uses this water to produce ROS, while also increasing the effectiveness of UV protection through a Fenton-like reaction. Small contaminants such as bacteria are filtered out by an ultra-filtration (UF) membrane. Lack of user experience and mishandling are not problems as any adjustments or repairs needed are automatically determined by AI.

The water system also uses ROS to perform self-cleaning. Doing so will extend the life of the water filtration system components and the entire unit. Since water is the only reagent required by ELECLEAN water, no harmful substances are produced from the water filter. Compared to conventional water filtration systems, ELECLEAN Water increases the production capacity of purified water and is also elegant in appearance.
