You might not know that Amazon makes wireless earbuds. Well, it does! The second-gen Echo Buds (8/10, WIRED Recommends) are some of our favorites. They sound great and work well with Alexa, and right now they’re only $ 50. They frequently dip to $ 85, but this is the lowest price we’ve ever tracked. Even at their typical full price of $ 120, these wireless earbuds fall into the budget range, so at less than half that they’re quite a steal.

Why We Love the Echo Buds
It’s 2022 and Bluetooth pairing can still be kind of a pain. Some earbuds, like the Echo Buds here, do what they can to make it easy to pair with your device. They integrate seamlessly with the Alexa app on iOS and Android — just pop open the charging case with the app open and it’ll do all the work for you.
The Alexa integration is pretty effortless to use. If it’s already your go-to voice assistant in your home, you’ll get extra mileage out of these earbuds. If not, don’t worry! They are compatible with Siri and Google Assistant (though they still work best with Alexa). During testing, WIRED associate editor Parker Hall used them almost all day, turning Alexa into an actual personal assistant. It reminded him to get up from his desk now and then, played news updates, gave weather reports, and was able to control music playback — all without Hall having to touch his phone. On top of all that, they sound great, offer five hours of battery life on a single charge, and boast a wide array of included eartips and fins for finding the perfect fit.
