Home-rental company Airbnb recently conducted a survey, here, revealing the most popular destinations for Labor Day weekend.

Although some are still planning summer trips, Labor Day is much shorter and travelers want to take full advantage of the three-day weekend. From small towns to beach destinations and other unique locations across the country, Labor Day is big business for both hosts and guests.

Based on the most nights booked for the long weekend, this year’s trending U.S. cities for travelers are:

Airbnb reports that U.S. hosts earned more than $300 million last Labor Day weekend and hope to beat that mark this year due to the rise of solo travel. Single trip bookings for the holiday weekend are up more than 20 per cent compared to 2021,’ they found.
