Vermont Agricultural, Food and Markets Agency Experts from the agricultural and tourism industry from around the world are invited to join the International Agricultural Tourism Workshop. This exciting event, to be held in Berlin from August 30-September 1, 2022, will include educational sessions, poster presentations, workshops, field trips and networking.
We encourage farmers, agricultural service providers, tourism professionals and anyone interested in learning more about agricultural tourism to come and share your knowledge, experience and knowledge. This is an unusual opportunity for our state to host this international event!
The $ 500 registration fee for the three-day conference also includes field trips Wednesday afternoon. Details on farm tours are here and the full conference schedule is here.

You are welcome to attend the 2022 Annual Meeting of the Vermont Farm to Platform on November 10 at Killington Resort. We are looking for workshops and ideas that reflect this year’s theme “Developing Relationships.”
More than ever, we need approaches, models, programs and innovations that bring people together in the private and public sectors and strengthen our environmental, social and economic food systems.

The University of Vermont, with the support of the Northeast Dairy Innovation Center, will present a workshop on cow herd health led by Dr. Dina Loisitzer, a senior veterinarian at the Green Mountain Bowvin Clinic in NH.
This free series offers a combination of farm-based and virtual workshops on herd health. It is open to participants from all geographical areas.

Join this Cedar Club Farm and Education Center on their climate-friendly farming practices. First, look at how Vermont organic farmers take action on climate change, conserve natural resources, store carbon, and build resilience. Learn about trimming, trimming unripe strawberries and flowers.
Good food will be served from the site cafe. Consider coming early to see the farm or take a closer look at the self-guided tour and experience the height of the farm during growth!
