After a two-year hiatus, the Ephraim Moravian Cemetery Dear Displaced Graves Tour returns on September 12 for tours at 1 pm and 2 pm.
The tour will feature three people who are an integral part of Ephraim’s story about their lives in the community and will be portrayed by well-dressed locals: Linda Carey portrays Adeline Seiler Krum. Angela Sherman will be Bernice Koehler; and BD Thorp portrays his great-grandfather Evan Lloyd Thorp.
Photos, artifacts and food sponsored by Ephraim Moravian Church and the Ephraim Historical Foundation will be available at the church at 9970 Moravia St. before and after the tour. Colin Welford will play the songs – and Karen Ekberg will discuss their origin – at 2pm and 3pm in a church where masks are required.
The program is free, but donations are appreciated. Tickets – limited to the first 70 people for the 1 pm tour – are required and will be issued immediately prior to the tour. The rain date is September 13th.
