More than two dozen crew members have been killed in a hurricane in the South China Sea on Saturday, the Hong Kong Emergency Management Agency said in a statement.
Local authorities sent planes and helicopters to help with the disaster. According to the AP, at least three out of 30 people will survive by Saturday night.
The Hong Kong government has released photos and videos of a man being taken to a rescue helicopter, part of which is in the water below.

The Guardian reported that the three survivors may have been swept away by the storm before the first helicopter arrived.
The Hong Kong Rescue Service has called for the rescue of two permanent wing aircraft and four helicopters.
At the time of the accident, the ship was about 300 miles[300 km]south of Hong Kong.
The ship, whose name has not been released, was caught in a tropical storm.
Winds of up to 144 km / h (90 miles per hour) and 10 m (33 feet) were recorded at the site of the ship, Al Jazeera reported.
The typhoon hit the coastal province of Guangdong on Saturday, the state news agency reported.
