Denver, August 9, 2022 /PRNewswire/ — As part of a unique STEM learning experience with Aureus Tech Systems, STEM student Ariane Pakira helped develop a first-of-its-kind threat prevention program. Aureus presents an annual, three-month summer STEM internship Denver Into the latest technological advances as high school students help develop and test future Oreus product solutions.

Sandesh Ranadiv was instrumental in developing the solution.
“Asset tracking helps keep employees accountable whether they’re in the office or at home,” he says. Peter Aziz. “Our team uses a Raspberry PI and a GPS module connected to the laptop, which sends real-time signals regarding the longitude and latitude of the device. Above all, asset tracking provides physical security to the company’s assets, something that has not been addressed in the past.”

Summer mentoring for STEM high school and college students is incredibly important to Oreus’ corporate social responsibility efforts. The internship program is aimed at leveling access to technology education in schools.

It has allowed me to see problems from the beginning to technical solutions and then programming,” says Ariane. “I’ve taken various programming courses before, but it gave me a lot of new insights into how to apply my code in a real-world environment.”
