What are some of your bedroom essentials?
“My dorm room essentials haven’t changed much since my freshman year of college. For me, it’s important to have a solid speaker, watch charging station combo, coffee maker, artwork, TV and of course a photo or two of my family and dogs. I don’t spend a lot of time in my classroom, but whenever I’m there I want to feel comfortable and relaxed. – Joshua Chaiken, US Public Affairs Int
“I’m pretty light so some pots and pans for cooking, a kettle for tea, a fridge for leftovers and a microwave for heating. Multiple plugs for multiple cables, a good speaker and my mini projector are a must. On weekends I use my mini projector to enjoy a good movie or TV series. How important are environmentally friendly products to your school purchases?
“After price, they’re very important! I always look at the price, from toiletries to face wash to clothes. I look at both the regular product and the eco-friendly product and then compare prices. I usually go for the eco-friendly product, especially if the price difference isn’t that big. But, a big difference.” If so, even if I have to wait (unless I really need it fast) I’ll try to look online for a better eco-friendly offering and try to find that.Camila Del Mar Rivera-Diaz, Corporate Marketing Enterprise
“Environmentally friendly products are something I’m more interested in given the current global climate crisis. I have switched to digital note taking and away from paper notes. What are your must-have back-to-school supplies?
“When I go back to school, there are only two products I think I’ll need to have on hand, including running my smartwatch and noise-cancelling headphones. For any smart college student, the library is often your home, and for me, I need my headphones to drown out the noise of my friends who come to ‘work’ with me.” Other than that, I always want my smartwatch running so I can relax and refresh myself after a long day of class. – Joshua Chaiken, US Public Affairs Int
“I can’t live without a laptop and wireless headphones for my daily college activities. I really like using my smartwatch to track my workouts and daily walks. I use my tablet for digital note-taking apps to help me organize class materials and practice good study habits. Some of my essential apps for studying are good notes and popularity to help me complete my college assignments and stay focused. -Atulia Nair, Corporate Citizenship Int
