Idyllwild hires a LA-based fashion designer.

The School of Iconic Arts, Edilweld Arts, has announced the appointment of Kentarro Kamiyama, a LA-based fashion designer, as chair of the Edelweld Arts Academy of Fashion Design. The venue will begin this fall, with Kentarro Kameyama, the 16th project runner-up, living between West Hollywood and Idilwood.

In his new career, Kentarro is determined to develop his next fashion talent. According to Abi Bosworth, chairman of the Center for Arts and Fashion at Aidilwood Arts, “Kentarro was elected chairman because he believes he can inspire young people on their journey to success in the fashion industry.” She felt that they needed someone.

Kentarro’s decision to teach high school – the most popular at the Idlweld Academy of Arts – was not expected of other members of the fashion industry, but Kentarro said: “People talk about a good lifestyle as a fashion designer. I want to inspire young people, just like my teachers. You know, I have a lot of degrees and certificates so I had a great opportunity to be inspired by many teachers!

Kentarro recently unveiled his new swimsuit at the Los Angeles Swimming Week and is on display at Adaho Fashion Week.
