Toyota is making a safety call to 46,000 2022 Tundra vehicles in the United States.

The vehicles involved in the memory of the Japanese automaker – including mixed electric vehicles – have some nuts that can be loosened over time.

In some cases, these nuts may be lost, which could cause the axel shaft sub-assembly to separate from the ax, the company said in a statement. If completely isolated, the company added, it could affect vehicle stability and break performance, which increases the risk of accidents.

To the thousands of vehicles involved in this memorial service, Toyota dealers will check and stop the axle flanks. Depending on the diagnosis, some axillary-related parts may be completely replaced.
