Tony winner LaChanze (Purple color, Once on this island, Trouble in the mind) and Tony nominee Alex Brightman (Beetle juice, School of Rock – Musical, Evil) by Playbill Travel’s upcoming Broadway on Alaska Cruise joins an all-star cast of Broadway favorites, exploring Alaska and British Columbia by day with cruise guests and performing unforgettable concerts by night.
Set for July 21-28, the ship welcomes Tony winner Brian Stokes Mitchell (Kiss me, Kate; RagtimeTony nominee Rob McClure (Mrs. Doubt Fire, ChaplainTony nominee Kate Baldwin (Hello Dolly!; Finian’s rainbowTony winner John Lloyd Young (Jersey boys On Stage and Screen), Grammy and Emmy Award-winning music director John McDaniel (Bonnie and Clyde, Annie, get your gun) and theater historian Ted Chapin.
The eight-day cruise aboard the luxury Seaborn Odyssey begins July 21 in Juneau, Alaska’s capital. Cruisers will then experience the spectacular cliffs and waterfalls of Tracy Arm Fjord. the majesty of the Misty Fjords and the mountains of the Prince Rupert Coast; Beautiful cruise days along the Grenville, Whale and Princess Royal canals; Stopping at Alert Bay and sailing to Johnstone Strait with blue and humpback whales. And a trip through Seymour Narrows to the final stop, the dynamic Canadian city of Vancouver.
Travelers can choose from a wide range of exciting tours including waterfalls, rainforests, glaciers, giant cedars and sequoias, primeval forests and abundant wildlife.
