Vintage, new and big cars and vehicles stole the show Wednesday afternoon at the Tuscola Technology Center’s Car Cruise and Big Toy Show event.
The Caro community came out to see all the fun at Wednesday’s event and, most importantly, show their support for the Tech student. Bobby Cerasoli, a Millington senior from Tuscola Tech Center, was recently diagnosed with cancer. After the investigation, Olsen thought it was the perfect time to hold an event in support of Bobby’s War. All proceeds from the event will go towards Bobby’s treatment and expenses.
“It’s been amazing to see all the community support without doing something like this for us,” said event coordinator and Tech Center teacher Cindy Olson. “Bobby was very grateful and it was great to see him having such a good time.”
Olson thanked all the students and staff who helped promote this and said they were the reason it was possible. Due to the overwhelming and positive turnout at the event, Olson said it will become an annual event.
“We planned to make this an annual event and it went really well,” Olson said.
The Tech Center is still accepting donations for the Cerasoli family, as all proceeds from the event will help the family at this time.
