Always a fan favorite, it’s the Bark at Rip Griffin Park on Tuesday night to start a two-game series against Grand Canyon. The Dogs are at the price of hosting No. 16 Texas Tech, a WAC preseason favorite and top 100 RPI opponent, with a 20-15 record in 2023. Believe it or not, Texas Tech is almost halfway through its Big 12 conference schedule. The Red Raiders sit at the halfway mark at 6-6 (.500) and are among six teams in the league at .500 or better and are two games back of first-place Texas at 8-4 (.667). Texas Tech has won three of its four Big 12 series. Picked to finish third in the 2023 Big 12 Preseason Poll, Texas Tech owns a two-game winning streak against preseason No. 1 TCU and preseason No. 2 Oklahoma State. On the road, Texas Tech was swept by preseason pick No. 4 Texas and recently won the series at Oklahoma, two games to one, which was the preseason pick No. 5 team.
Big 12 sweep
