Florida Tech Panthers Scholar-Athletes Recognized for Academic Achievement at Honors Convocation

BREVARD COUNTY, Florida – Florida Tech athletics had another great year in the 2022-23 class, with several scholar-athletes recognized at the university’s Honors Convocation.

A total of 9 scholar-athletes and one assistant coach were awarded Student of the Year. In addition, 10 Panthers were the recipients of the Distinguished Student Scholar Award from Florida Tech.

Student of the Year honorees are selected by each academic department at Florida Tech and are designated as “active student-scholars who have made significant contributions to the academic program, university and community.”

The Distinguished Student Scholar Award is given to undergraduate students who have completed more than 55 credit hours at Florida Tech with a grade point average of 3.8 or higher.
