The Boston Business Journal has released its annual survey of the best places to work in Massachusetts.
This year, more than 300 companies participated in the BBJ process, the exit of which is qualified to highlight on 80 companies. This is the 21st year BBJ has recognized Best Places to Work. His method is based on confidential surveys given to employees, who evaluate various aspects of their workplace such as job satisfaction, engagement, communication, retention and teamwork.
BBJ’s research partner Quantum Workplace conducted online surveys. Employees were asked to answer a series of questions on a scale of one to six, ranging from “strongly disagree” to “strongly agree.” For a company to be considered the ultimate honoree, it had to reach a certain threshold of employee participation. After the surveys were completed, Quantum Workplace tabulated the average score for each question and the overall score for each company.
The honorees are divided into five categories: Small, Small, Medium, Large and Large. The minor and major honorees were released Wednesday, while the mid-sized honorees were announced Thursday. The finalists will be announced on Friday.
