‘Cvent Travel Summit’ will be held on April 19

Cvent, the meetings, events, travel and hospitality technology provider, will host its third annual Cvent Travel Summit on Wednesday 19 April. Hosted on the Cvent Attendee Hub, the Thanksgiving virtual event is designed for travel executives, global corporate travel buyers, travel management companies (TMC) and hoteliers to maximize the impact of their travel programs. This year’s content is sponsored by the Travel and Meetings Association (TAMS) and aims to educate, disrupt and innovate the business travel and meetings and events industry.

“By the end of this year, travel managers expect business travel to reach pre-pandemic levels, with nearly 75% of travel managers reaching pre-pandemic levels. The robust agenda features plenary sessions moderated by travel executives and inspiring thought leaders to discuss the current landscape of business travel. Expert-led breakout sessions will cover a variety of topical topics including exploring how ChatGPT/AI is changing the industry, travel data to inform program strategy, negotiation strategies, sustainability trends and DE&I. Additionally, the interactive “Cvent Anything” session will give attendees a unique opportunity to interact directly with Cvent product experts and ask questions about Cvent’s award-winning travel and transition technology solutions.   • Bart Burke, former hospitality executive and award-winning motivational speaker
    In addition to leading sales efforts for several convention and visitor bureaus, Bart Burke has held several international executive positions in the hospitality industry, including Hyatt Hotels and StarCite. He has served in various executive roles for the Ritz-Carlton Hotel Company, producing nearly $1 billion in revenue. He is a viral TEDx speaker, a best-selling author on Amazon, and has been recognized as one of the “Top 25 Most Inspiring Minds in Sales and Marketing. Drawing on his extensive experience in the service and hospitality industries with his keen observational skills and unwavering focus on others, Bart empowers people to transform and take on a unique trademark “not many people understand” approach.   • Dan Cnossen, seven-time Paralympic medalist and former SEAL Team One commander
    Lt. Commander Dan Noson was wounded in an explosion while serving as the platoon commander for SEAL Team One in Afghanistan in September 2009. The accident caused Cnossen to lose both legs above the knee. Cnossen underwent extensive rehabilitation and eventually became world champion biathlete and cross-country skier, winning seven Paralympic medals (two gold, four silver, one bronze). Cnossen was also awarded the Purple Heart and Bronze Star for Valor from the Secretary of the Navy for his service in combat. At the Cvent Travel Summit, Cnossen will share his inspiring story and discuss the role of faith and mindset in overcoming critical challenges.
