Dine-Lee’s 4th Small Business Market in Westbury attracts many people
More than 900 people attended Dine-Lee’s 4th Annual Small Business Market in Westbury on February 11 at Samania Mall. The event featured over 100 food and specialty craft/small business vendors.
The event benefited both Beyond Badge NY and the Fires and Drums Foundation.
The Fires and Drums Foundation was created to honor William Tolley, who died in a fire in Brooklyn. William leaves behind a wife and a 9-year-old daughter.
The foundation provides support to the families of fallen first responders and military members who suffer from trauma like ours.
Beyond Badge NY is a local non-profit that promotes suicide prevention and mental health awareness in law enforcement. The officer’s mission is to break the stigma surrounding access to mental health treatment and reduce the growing suicide epidemic.
The organization provides support not only to officers who need help, but also to the children and families of officers who have died by suicide.
