Design and features
The Mophie Snap+ Multi-Device Travel Charger is made up of three black plastic charging pads, two of which have Qi-compatible wireless charging, a third USB-C input on one side, and USB-C and USB-A outputs. In another. The three squares are connected to each other with a soft and flexible plastic and everything is set in a compact size for traveling. Inside the small flap at the end are magnets that help the charger stay closed when folded. Also included in the package is a 30W USB-C charging pad and a USB-C to USB-C cable, both black. The whole kit comes enclosed in a nice thick, gray, felt travel case, which has an elastic loop that clips onto a button on the flap to keep it closed.
The charger can support up to four devices simultaneously, two wireless and two wired. The wireless pads can support iPhone or Android phones on one side and AirPods or other Qi-compatible Bluetooth headphones on the other. The USB-C port can deliver up to 20W and the USB-A port up to 12W.
Installation and configuration
All you need to do to get the Mophie Snap+ Multi-Device Travel Charger ready to go is plug the USB-C cable into the charging pad and charging block, and then plug the charging block into the wall. Once that’s done, simply place your device on one of the Qi pads or plug the USB-A or USB-C cable into the center charging square.
The larger Qi pad is MagSafe compatible, so it magnetically attaches to iPhones, although it only charges 7.5W for iPhones, and charges Qi-compatible Android phones at up to 15W. My Pixel 6 topped it off easily, and even attached magnetically to the pad, but the alignment was a bit tricky to get right. Mophie includes a small magnetic ring, which it calls a charging adapter, which sticks to the back of the phone to aid in charging. mophie includes an alignment guide to help place the adapter on the back of the phone. I temporarily put the adapter on the back of my Pixel 6 and put the case back on the phone and the charging rate increased significantly (as measured on the Ampere Android app).

The Mophie Snap+ Multi-Device Travel Charger is perfect for traveling or wherever you need a multi-device charger to help reduce the clutter of cables and charging blocks. On a recent trip, I used snap+ to charge my iPhone 13 Pro Max, my Series 4 Apple Watch, and a pair of Bluetooth headphones, which unfortunately don’t support Qi charging. I used the larger Qi pad for the iPhone, the USB-A output for the Apple Watch charging pack, and the USB-C output for Bluetooth headphones. I was charging these devices overnight so I didn’t have to worry about slow charging speeds when I was charging multiple devices. If you have multiple devices, I would say this charger is best for charging overnight because you won’t be getting the full wattage from each output when charging more than one device at a time.
I’ve also tested several scenarios with my two phones, a TCL Android tablet, separate Qi-compatible Bluetooth headphones, and a rechargeable flashlight. All four devices charged simultaneously, although when I plugged in the TCL tablet it limited the output of the main Qi pad and the Pixel phone had trouble staying in charging mode. The charging indicator at the top of the screen next to the clock stays on but the Ampere app tells me “not charging” and “metering”. I guess I’m getting confused because there isn’t much current to the phone. I let it charge this way for five minutes and the phone’s charge did not increase to a percentage. I tried the same thing with the iPhone, which also indicated that it was charging, but after five minutes the charge percentage didn’t increase. I’m sure it fills up a lot slower than a given faster speed than most of the time.
The TCL tablet also slowed down its charging speed when connected to multiple devices, charging about half as fast on its own. I noticed something interesting while charging this tablet. I first tested the charger with my iPad Pro and used the USB-C cable that came with the iPad. I used the same cable with the TCL tablet and noticed that it was charging slowly. I switched to another USB-C cable and the charging speed more than doubled. I think Apple’s cable is not rated for the high speeds of Android tablet PD charging. This is amazing proof that not all USB-C cables are created equal.
I haven’t noticed the charging block or the chargers getting hot although I’m sure they do with longer charging times.

Final thoughts
I find that I rarely use single-device chargers anymore. Most of my chargers can charge at least two devices at once, although many can do more. The Mophie Snap+ Multi-Device Travel Charger is perfect for when I want to charge multiple devices without having to carry multiple different chargers everywhere I go.
