The warm season in the country starts in December and now is the perfect time to enjoy the pleasant weather, book those flights, soak up the sun and escape what will be a cold winter back home. Delta Increases Brazil Offers – Information for Travelers
Before the outbreak, the number of Americans visiting Brazil had grown for two consecutive years, reaching more than half a million. While the pandemic has significantly reduced the number of travelers to Brazil and other countries, Delta Air Lines is taking on the challenge of expanding its reach to the masses and relaunching with different flight frequencies and routes to restore passenger numbers. In the next few months.
That’s especially good news for those in the Hartfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport (ATL) area. The busiest airport in the United States is set to serve two of its routes to Brazil. In addition to a second scheduled flight between Delta’s Atlanta hub and Sao Paulo Guarulhos International Airport (GRU), scheduled flights to Rio de Janeiro’s Galeo International Airport (GIG) will also continue. Both of these changes take effect from December 17, giving travelers more flexibility this winter.
Flights between New York’s John F. Kennedy International Airport (JFK) and Sao Paulo are set to benefit from increased frequencies. There are currently three weekly flights between the two airports. However, from October 29 this will become a daily service, giving travelers many more options to fly that route. The journey is carried out by Delta Airbus A330-300 aircraft and the flight time is 9 hours and 40 minutes.
With these additions, Delta now flies 28 flights between the two countries. Travelers looking to catch a round-trip flight from Atlanta to the sunny beaches and lively streets of Rio de Janeiro in December can find several direct flights for less than $2,000. Those looking for a vibrant and culturally rich vacation to Sao Paulo can benefit from a variety of travel options for under $2000. For those looking to go between New York JFK and Sao Paulo, there are direct return flights for less than $1800.

Perfect for travelers considering a change from places like Cancun or the Dominican Republic, Rio is home to some of the world’s most recognizable landmarks, including Sugarloaf Mountain, which towers over the city, and the famous Christ the Redeemer statue.
A different feel from Rio de Janeiro but still full of unmistakable Brazilian charm, São Paulo is the country’s cultural hub. Not only is it packed with more museums and galleries than you could ever imagine visiting, but the city is full of architecture, a rich nightlife and some of the best restaurants on the continent, making it a more than worthy alternative to Mexico. City. With two cities like these – not to mention Belo Horizonte, Salvador, Fortaleza and many more – it’s easy to see why the country is so desirable.
