Harry Styles has evolved from birth to fashion icon.

The film had its world premiere at the Venice International Film Festival on Monday amid controversy and, most importantly, fashion, taking the internet and the world by storm.

Styles arrived on the Venetian carpet in a navy blue Gucci dress with bold broad shoulders and a high-necked collar, Sarah Carmali, Harper’s Bazaar executive editor (digital), told The Associated Press.

Laura Jordan, fashion and lifestyle director at Grazia magazine, says Styles’ partnership with stylist Harry Lambert has created “absolute magic.”

“[Styles’ fashion]has always got this retro beat camp vibe. He likes big collars, colorful shades, lots and lots of Gucci,” said Jordan.

In the year In 2018, he began to build his personal style and brand by becoming the ambassadors for the Italian fashion house Gucci. Styles has worn the brand in several editorial campaigns, but the most notable was the dress she sported for the November 2020 cover of Vogue. The musician-actor was the fashion magazine’s first solo male cover star.

The much-talked-about cover of Styles stepped out on a green field under a clear sky and wore Gucci’s Alessandro Michele-Designed blue dress covered in black lace for a pop of contrast, several slinky layers and to top it all off – a classic black blazer.

Since transitioning from boy band member to solo artist with several hit albums, he’s become synonymous with a striking signature look — colorful ’70s-inspired three-piece suits and jumpsuits with flared bells and the occasional feather boa. Imitating the likes of Elton John.

For his “Love on Tour 2022,” which currently includes a spectacular 15-date residency at New York’s Madison Square Garden, every outfit shines a design — literally.

Uniquely dressed for the night by Gucci, Styles donned a uniquely patterned two-piece jumpsuit with stripes to dots, all in a variety of colors like bright reds, pinks, blues, and yellows.

If there’s one takeaway from the evolution of Styles’ personal wardrobe, it’s that it’s personal, versatile, and most of all, fun.

“Harry Styles knows exactly who Harry Styles is,” Jordan said.
