Elizabethtown, Pa., September 2, 2022 /PRNewswire/ — This fall, Elizabethtown College School for Graduate and Professional Studies (SGPS) launches Family Business Graduate and Entrepreneurship Certificate. Getting started October 17The first batch will be launched which will develop the entrepreneurial spirit of the students by developing their skills in business idea, leadership, strategic planning, management and more.

A trainer is available upon request upon completion of the certification in partnership with the Senior Center for Family Business, one of the oldest and largest centers of its kind. These experienced individuals provide knowledge in developing business development for students with practical outcomes including:
- Review the steps to start, innovate and grow a business.
- Analyze strategies for running a successful business.
- Define leadership skills and practices to facilitate business performance.
- Critical management structures and succession planning as an integral part of the business model.
- Develop a business plan on a new entrepreneurial business idea or potential innovation.
The 12-credit certificate includes four online courses you can complete in one year, such as “Dreams to Reality: Where Are You in the Business Ownership Cycle?”, Strategy and Gaining a Competitive Edge, along with new courses like Leading Your Business. Develops, flexibility, management, governance and succession planning. The certification can be sequenced through Etown’s 36-credit Master of Business Administration (MBA) and Strategic Leadership (MSL) or our 32-credit Post-Professional Occupational Therapy Doctorate (OTD).
