We asked Sarah Rickard, fashion stylist, personal shopper and founder of Sarah Rickard Style, to review the DS 4 and share her top tips on the ride.
DS4’s proximity keyless input is godsend. I always pack a bag when I get back to my car. DS 4 recognizes and unlocks you remotely. The car also turns on the lights automatically; This is amazing for me as I have to park in the same parking lot twice a week and forget where to park!
If DS 4 was an actor, it would be Jamie Dornan. – Strong, beautiful, clean, neat, beautiful and in the right size I don’t know what it is!
I always drive to work. – Preparing for issues, driving to and from locations and meeting customers. For this the DS4’s wide boot and keyless entry are invaluable.
I often travel long distances for fashion shoots. These can be very long days; One feature I love about the DS 4 is the DS Matrix LED Vision Projector headlights that accurately sense your surroundings and adapt to five preset modes (City, Country, Highway, Bad Weather and Fog). The main beam in all conditions without appreciating other road users. It’s one small thing to think about on the drive home after a long day of shooting.
Is my car legal? As a mother of two wild boys, the rules are don’t jump out while the car is moving!
I have a very strict system when packing the car for work. My rail slides in with the back seats, shoes and accessories in the back, steam and kit bag in the front and hanging clothes bags in the boot.
A guilty secret in the glove box? Eilish is from McDonald’s and she’d be lying if she told you otherwise! Mine would be chocolate but I can’t eat room temperature chocolate so I call it an emergency pack of Tangfastics.
My beauty kit in the car It includes hand cream (Aesop Resurrection Aromatique hand balm) and perfume (Molecule 01 by Escentric Molecules) and chewing gum (which my boys steal).
I passed my driving test first time! Our father has been in the car business for 50 years (in fact he only closed the shop at the start of covid) but the biggest achievement was that all four of his daughters passed their driving test for the first time.
My favorite thing about driving was playing albums from start to finish.. I had a job during college and I was listening to albums the first couple of years when I was helping out and traveling across the country. Now, it’s coming to listen to podcasts without interruption!
