Two memories merge into one story as we follow Steph and James as they try to live life to the fullest despite the challenges they face, follow their dreams and not just survive but love each other… If you like Wild by Cheryl Strayed, you’ll love Back Pack. Too many years. I can vouch for this.

It’s time for the pandemic to end, which means people are traveling more. Many of us lack adventure, and this story can fill the void that Covid-19 has left in our hearts.

It had a lot of faith and hope and made me feel energized reading the ending. It was a beautiful, informative, true story to read.

As an older reader, I find it disturbing to see the couple make sometimes radical choices on their journey. Their lack of money, their rush to get married and their health scares, career hurdles and the stress of the first year of marriage have become textbooks for not taking such risks, but the success of a risk is not measured by the number of failures. . It’s about the ability to overcome those obstacles. And Stephanie and James definitely won.

This book made me want to catch a flight to another country and go with the flow on vacation and meet new people and have new experiences. I didn’t want it and I was sad when it ended!
