CosmoTrips – Travel as an editor

[ad_1]

Well, this is interesting. Cosmopolitan magazine called it “Seven Places That Will Drive You Crazy!” It is a magazine known for such articles. It announced the creation of CosmoTrips, which it describes as an opportunity for millennials and Gen Z to “travel like an editor.” The first four destinations are New York, Austin, Charleston and West Hollywood. Sadly, my dream of a cosmopolitan trip to Las Vegas to stay at a cosmopolitan resort will have to wait for another day. This isn’t your typical tour, but it could be perfect for someone looking for cheap accommodation and a little guidance on what to do.

CosmoTrips offers “quick hits” of cities

Thinking of making a reservation? According to the media brand, the trips are two- and three-night itineraries and include “the best places to stay, eat and play, as well as exclusive perks and insider access.” Naturally, Cosmo’s editorial team is checking out all the stops (with some help from private tour operator Travel Curios).

Visit New York City, Cosmo Street

New York City

If you’re interested in a sample itinerary, Cosmo has reviewed what to see and do in New York City. At least, that’s the way it appeared from the reviews. In fact, most of what they said was true. Recommended Sites you will visit, so make sure you pay attention to the “What’s Included” section of the trip. For example, the overview talked about a Greenwich Village Secret Food Tour, but I didn’t see that anywhere in the itineraries on their site. Too bad, that pizza looks really good.

Naturally, the goodies included will appeal to the younger generation. At the trendy Bar Cicchetti, you’ll get evening admission to SUMMIT One Vanderbilt (sounds great) and a complimentary drink (Cosmo, of course) during a “custom-designed Bloomington full-face makeup glam experience.”

Accommodation will be at Moto Chelsea, a Hilton brand. Hilton describes it as a motto of “travel-sized rooms,” meaning it’s small, but solid, and the entire trip can cost less than a night at a luxury downtown property.

Booking your trip

You can book your trip directly on the CosmoTrips website, and two-night stays start at $349 per person, double occupancy. Three-night stays are as low as $449 per person and require three people to book.

And my dream may not have to wait as long as I think. Cosmo has announced that the next rollout of cities will include New Orleans, Miami and Las Vegas.
