It’s fashion heaven and you get to see it up close and personal!

Fashion designer Christian Siriano gives us an up close and personal look at his amazing creations. The Savannah College of Art and Design (SCAD) currently has the “People Are” exhibit featuring Siriano at the SCAD FASH Fashion Museum + Film (SCAD FASH). With more than 60 designs on display, the designer’s decade-long career truly embodies allure and self-expression for all ages.

“No designer understands people as well as Christian Siriano,” said Paula Wallace, president and founder of ESCAD. “Cells love the designs – Billy Porter, Amy Adams, Zendaya and Lizzo sing his praises. But what sets Christian apart is his belief that fashion is for everyone—and when we zip up a Siriano design, we’re all stars.

The looks in this exhibition are truly stunning – featuring extraordinary gowns and red carpet looks from the designer’s archive, including many of his greatest runway moments and outfits worn by the world’s biggest stars. I’ve mentioned some of them before but the list is long – Michelle Obama, Oprah Winfrey, legendary singers Lady Gaga and Jennifer Lopez, LGBTQ+ champions Laverne Cox, Michael Urie and Jonathan Van Ness, actresses Alicia Silverstone, Regina King and Danielle Brooks, pop Sensations Taylor Swift, Janelle Monáe, Lizo & Sia, rappers Lil Kim and Cardi B and we can’t forget about international top models Heidi Klum, Naomi Campbell, Coco Rocha and Ashley Graham. People reveals the never-before-seen gowns that People will wear during the 2022 red carpet season.

This isn’t the first time Siriano has been honored at SCAD—he was previously recognized at the SCAD Museum’s inaugural exhibition in 2021. The fashion designer actually attended the opening reception of the exhibition and was very grateful. “It’s an incredible honor to have my work featured not once, but twice, in a solo exhibition at SCAD,” said Siriano. I am very grateful to SCAD for recognizing the commitment my team and I have made to my brand over the past 14 years. I hope that through this exhibition I can inspire others to persevere and create. Without art, this world would be incredibly ordinary, and I hope this exhibition inspires young artists to push the boundaries and make the world extraordinary through their work.
