Being a tech nerd comes with some pros and cons. The Professor can get your hands on some of the best technology in the world. As someone who likes to be on the bleeding edge of technology, this means I have access to some of the most important pieces of technology in the world.
My love affair with technology started early in life. Hidden away in my family’s attic are photos of all the variations surrounding Game Boys and the new handsets. I’ve never been someone interested in clothes or makeup. I was a tech nerd. When I wasn’t playing games or browsing PC magazines, I was constantly bricking Nokias and looking for ways to push the technology to its limits.
No wonder the more technology I got then. I was much better than my father at getting rid of old technology that served its purpose (and making a small profit from it). When I arrived at my first home, I was still walking around with a large amount of technology and old phones. I was determined to hang things on our walls as display pieces, much to my ex’s chagrin.
And so Tech Wall 1.0 was born! And as you can see, it leaves something to be desired. In the beginning, many heavy objects were attached with heavy duty 3M tape or some kind of hook and loop system. But as you can see from the gaps, some of the heavier stuff like the original Game Boy and Game Gear didn’t survive the wall. The pieces were failing due to the weight of the items and I didn’t want to break anything so I had to wonder if there was a better way to display all of my favorite items.
This is where Xreart comes in. Fortunately, for those of us who love our technology and want to show it off in all its glory, there are better ways to do this than tapping on the back of your devices and waiting for the best. .

It comes in a sturdy black box with silver lettering and the Xreart logo embossed on it. A rigid cardboard box contains the well-sealed square shadow box. When opening the box, it is surrounded by foam tiles that support the item without compromising its safety and presentation. Once you take the shadow box out of the packaging, you’ll notice the little things that speak to the attention to detail, like the protective film on the glass to protect it from possible scratches or breakage in transit. It has a strong black frame that accentuates the parts inside, and immediately catches your eye.
The shells of Game Boy colors are well preserved and immediately draw your eyes to them as soon as you see them. Not only the back shell, but also the front and the back panel of the battery. The parts, from the display to the membrane for the buttons and D-pad, are assembled and labeled. Sometimes it can be hard to imagine what goes into our technology to beat the technology.
The way the console and components are laid out gives you a better idea of what exactly goes into each device. However, it is laid out and named in such a way that even novice tech nerds can appreciate and know what each component does and what makes each device unique and special.
One of the things I really appreciate for me is the attention to detail in the layout. Here is a very subtle but very effective color play. For example, on the motherboard there is a contrast from the deep green gold and silver arrows to the light green, almost teal color of the rest of the board, which covers the buttons and screen. .
You’ll notice that the teal color is also featured in the side panels, while the buttons themselves are solid black. This allows the colors to complement each other and bring other colors to play in the elements.
