Georgia Tech has added two more commitments to their practice squad over the past two weeks with the additions of Javin Simpkins and cornerback LJ Green. The Yellow Jackets coaching staff may have some more good news this week as they add their 15th commitment.
North Cobb athlete Jacob Cruz is one of the top targets left on the Georgia Tech board and is a welcome addition to the 2023 recruiting class. Cruz announced on Twitter that he will make the commitment this Friday.
Georgia Tech now leads the crystal ball with 247, but this could be a battle between the Yellow Jackets and the Virginia Knights. Cruz visited both schools this summer and both programs will be better off with him in their classrooms.
At 6-5 225 lbs, Cruz could be an effective pass rusher at the next level but can also play other positions. Georgia Tech’s biggest concern is getting him in the classroom and then figuring out the rest.
I’ll have full coverage of Cruise’s commitment this Friday on AllYellowJackets!
