Google Pixel 6A

Google released the Pixel 6A (8/10, WIRED Recommends), and it quickly became a favorite phone for many people. Compared to most smartphones these days, it’s powerful, has a decent camera and is on the smaller end of the size spectrum. This isn’t exactly a discount on the phone, but you do get a $50 Amazon gift card. (It comes in an envelope with no expiration date.) Use it to buy a case and screen protector for your device. (We have recommendations here.)

Note: You must activate the device to enter into this agreement. Samsung is about to unveil new foldable phones, which means last year’s models are seeing a dramatic discount. This is one of the best deals we’ve seen on Samsung’s folding Galaxy Z Flip 3 (7/10, WIRED Review). It’s basically a smartphone that you can fold in half, and who doesn’t love that? If you want a tablet experience in a phone design, you’ll be happy to know that the Galaxy Z Fold 3 is selling for $800 (almost $1,000 off) in the 256-GB version. These offers are valid for AT&T and Verizon customers.

It will be the Motorola Edge+ (6/10, WIRED Review). nice If not, it usually costs $1,000. That exorbitant sticker price is the biggest reason we don’t recommend it. At $500, however, it’s a great deal, and this is the best deal we’ve seen so far. That said, unless you’re dying for wireless charging or more than 128GB of storage, the Pixel 6A at $449 is still the best bang for your buck.

Coming in at $20 less than previous deals, this is a great choice if you’re looking for the cheapest unlocked phone. There’s support for NFC, so you can make contactless payments, and you get two-day battery life and sub-6G 5G, so you’re not limited to slow 4G LTE. Note that this phone is no longer receiving Android version updates, so you’ll be stuck with the Android 11 that’s already available.

Apple MacBook Pro (2022)

In her review, WIRED reviewer Brenda Stoller said that this laptop is “underpowered but perfectly fine.” It’s mostly the same as yesterday’s models—which is both good and bad. There are a few bells and whistles, the most notable being the 2-in-1 display. Once homework is done, students can turn on the screen and watch some Netflix—no TV required.

Alexa speakers can be useful for more than just playing music. This can make a great accessory if you are decorating a bedroom. Amazon’s voice assistant relays weather forecasts or questions such as “How do you know if milk is out of date?” A college student can answer such questions. or “Who’s that guy in that movie?” This agreement was from the day of the general. This is the best 4K streaming device for Amazon fans, and the price matches the lowest we’ve seen. The interface is super fast and easy to use, even though it mainly offers Amazon Prime Video content.
