Poland has issued a strong warning to Russia after multiple drones crossed into its airspace during a large-scale assault on Ukraine. In a rare show of force, Polish military defenses were activated, marking one of the most serious violations of NATO territory since the invasion began.
The incident unfolded overnight, with as many as nineteen drone incursions detected—some entering from Belarus—forcing Poland to respond with defensive fire. At least four drones were successfully downed by NATO and Polish forces, highlighting the severity of the situation.
