Taylor Swift’s new tour sees the superstar revisiting many of her musical eras, each with its own unique charm.

From Madonna to Lady Gaga, many musicians have been known to change their style over time to reflect their sound. Still, few pop stars manage to pull off the top sonic number. And Sartorial eras like Taylor Swift.
In her decade and a half so far, Swift has gone from country darling to global pop star, experimenting with different genres of music and proving herself to be a true style maven along the way.
Today marks the start of the Grammy winner’s highly anticipated Eras Tour, which she describes as a “journey through my musical career (past and present).” Swifties lucky enough to get tickets can expect costumes that showcase many of the beauties she’s explored over the years.

Swift embraced fairytale fashion throughout her “Fearful” days, incorporating ball gowns, ruched bodices, tulle-skirted styles and sequin-abundant dresses into her wardrobe; In the year In her 2009 single “Saturday Night Out,” she sang about her love for “sparkly and sparkly dresses.”

1989 (2014)
“Welcome to New York.” Swift’s fifth studio album — and her first pure pop LP — came shortly after the singer moved to Manhattan, where she cut her long hair into a chic shoulder-grazing bob and made a full outfit to suit her new high-fashion hometown.
Matching crop tops and skirts became Swift’s new everyday uniform, almost always with sky-high designer heels. Even when she’s simply hitting the gym, the star always looks perfectly put together.
Fame (2017)
Sorry, old Taylor can’t come to the phone right now. Released nearly a year after Swift’s drama with Kanye West and Kim Kardashian in the lead, “Fame” features the musician’s most dramatic style to date.
Dark colors dominated this season, with Swift opting for more hoodies, combat boots, cargo pants, camouflage patterns and jet-black sequins than ever before.
