We’re still waiting for Sasha Banks and Naomi to return to WWE television. After the Nick Khan/Stephanie McMahon/Triple H reign reportedly made peace with the disgruntled former Women’s Tag Champions, the conventional wisdom was that they would return after the tournament to reward their successors. Well, that was two weeks ago and we’re still waiting…
But there is a glimpse of Boss ‘n’ Glow to report. It looks amazingly new and is fantastic overall. She-Hulk On the red carpet, Banks (Mercedes Varnado) and Naomi (Trinity Fatu) hit the New York Fashion Week runway, twice a year to release new collections from leading designers.
That last tweet and Titus O’Neil’s Instagram revealed that the duo have been hanging out with WWE friends in the Big Apple this week, but that doesn’t give us much of an indication of their future plans.
Some of the comments that Sasha gave in a recent episode Ahch-to Radio: A Star Wars Podcast What went down yesterday (September 9) is probably:
“I have a lot to create now. It’s all under the umbrella. Like I said, I’m an actor, model, writer, producer and entertainer extraordinaire, so all in those realms – I’m doing something. So you just have to stay tuned.
“But you have a microphone, that’s a big thing I want to do. Not a podcast, but music… I don’t know if it’s number one next, because acting – there’s so many things that come with acting now. I’m really starting to put my mind into music and the world of music and being a kind director where I create a music video piece.
Obviously the main focus of the interview on the Star Wars podcast will be on Banks/Varnado’s role as Koska Reeves. The Mandalorian, so it’s only natural that she teases more acting work. There’s a fair amount of wrestling talk in the episode, and Sasha certainly doesn’t seem shy about that part of her career. Should she juggle modeling, acting and directing music videos?
Time will tell. For now, let’s just say that both ladies looked fabulous in NYC this week.
