Salih Özkan will not travel with the Turkish national team during the international break due to a bone tumor in his leg.
The Turku international will not be included in the national team’s squad for the September match due to a bone spur in his foot. Salih Özcan played the entire Rivier derby on Saturday as his injury was diagnosed after the match.
Özcan suffered a foot problem in training this summer and missed several games at Dortmund due to fitness issues. With Mahmoud Daoud sidelined until November with a shoulder injury, Emre Can could step into the starting line-up if Ozkan is not ready to return in October.
