As with other games, there is a fast travel option in MMO Conan Exiles so you don’t have to spend hours walking from one place to another. However, this is not available from the beginning.
It can be extremely nerve-wracking when you feel like completing the next mission, but you only have to walk in a straight line for minutes to get to your desired destination first. In most games there is always a way to teleport back and forth in the world. Fast travel is also available in Conan Exiles. We’ll show you how to unlock the feature in our guide.
Unlock Fast Travel in Conan Exiles
Fast travel is not available at the beginning of the game in Conan Exiles. To teleport from A to B, you need the skills of a cartographer. You can learn this skill from the Archivist in the Nameless City. The journey there is not easy.
For one thing, as soon as you enter the city, you are worried about corruption. Secondly, you will be immediately followed by many enemies. Just skip everything and go straight to the library north of town. The location is shown on the map.
Enter the library and find the archive inside. You will find it deep in the building in the form of large ghosts floating behind a giant map. Talk to him to learn the Cartographer’s skill. Now you can find the skills in your skills in the “Decoration” category.
Once you’ve mastered the Cartographer skill, you can return to your starting point to prepare the map section you need for fast travel. However, the mapping module requires some work and resources:
- 25 x steel reinforcement
- 50x crystal
- 75 x Alchemical Base (1x Alchemical Base = 2 x Silver Dust, 1 x Gold Dust and 2 x Wound Echo)
- Ruined Stones x200 (In Brazier you need to combine total Stones x400, Secretion x200 and Demon Blood x200)
In addition to the materials needed to build the map room, you must be at least level 62 to be able to use it fully.
Activate monuments for fast travel
As long as you’ve met all the requirements, there’s nothing stopping you from speeding. You can now activate the ten statues scattered across the map and then use the fast travel function to reach them. However, these statues are not easily found, and some dangers come.
If you encounter a statue before building the map room, you can still sync the statue with your snake bracelet and keep it activated until the map room is complete.
It is also important to know that you can only go to the statues from your base. To get back to your base or another monument, you need to walk or ride your mount.
