Chicago mayoral candidate Paul Vallas has received more than $ 760,000 in donations from business and real estate donors, adding to his profile with incumbent Mayor Lori Lift.
The former Chicago Public Schools chief executive posted $ 836,500 in total donations in the second quarter, the campaign reported Wednesday. His biggest came from golf course developer and Republican donor Michael Kaiser, with a net worth of $ 500,000.
Wallace received $ 100,000 each from John Canning and James Perry from Chicago private equity firm Madison Derborne Partners and $ 50,000 from insurance asset management partner Noel Moore.
Wallace received $ 10,000 from Odonnel Family LLC, which shares an address with Riverside Investment & Development, led by CEO John Odonel. The agency did not respond to requests from Real Dell to confirm the connection.
Hedge Fund Senior Capital Partners President John Schreiber donated $ 1,000, as did Anthony Thomas, president of Navigant Development, and Thomas Kirney, senior vice president of RMK.
