IT may be the dog days of summer, but fall fashion is already here and one fashionista is wondering why she remembers what her mom wears.
Breanna Alexis aka Breannaalexisb says she’s “addicted to fashion” on TikTok. So it’s no surprise when you picked up some fall fashion finds on a recent trip to Walmart, but more than one of them had a retro vibe.

According to a TikToker, Walmart has already started releasing fall fashion, though many retailers, overwhelmed with inventory, are slashing prices to get existing items out the door to make way for new merchandise.
Brenna says she’s been able to find a few pieces that she can wear now and transition into fall when it’s warm outside.
The style maven showcased her well-rounded journey in her post.
One outfit was a light wash denim shorts jumpsuit with long fashionable ruffled sleeves.
She couldn’t stop raving about it when she said she wouldn’t wear it now because of the long sleeves.
“This is so cute…I feel like I’m wearing what my mother used to wear,” she said.
The style maven took the outfit a step further, figuring out how to make it work for fall and showing viewers.
She paired it with tall white boots and a cowboy hat, which she found on Amazon as the perfect outfit to wear to a concert.
That wasn’t all she picked up from the giant retailer on pointy transitional clothing.
Next she showed off a fitted jumpsuit, which she said would work well for summer, but teamed it with turtlenecks and white boots to show everyone how smart it could look for autumn/winter.
She finally pulls out a strapless plaid mini dress and says, “I guess whatever my mom wore in high school is coming back in style, but I just love it.”
The fashion-savvy shopper paired the look with a bra underneath and a white embroidered Forever 21 sweater over the dress for a perfect transitional look.
She accessorized with a pair of tot spoke suede caramel boots from Target last year.
The final look had a retro look with a modern edge – definitely making it the look your mom would want to wear today.
Brenna has over 236,000 followers on TikTok and her post has received over 3,000 likes and dozens of comments.
Only one person mentions being thrown for maternity clothes: “Wait… how old are you, because I wore that thing in high school.”
Many others have fallen for the North Carolina teenager effortlessly putting together her outfits to make them heart-worthy and maybe even more cute.
One: “OMG!!! A sweater with plaid… that’s a genius idea!” Many other followers also fell in love with the tip.
Another wrote, “I love how you put the turtle under the jumpsuit! I want to do it this fall and winter!”
And one follower just touched her writing style. “I love it. Share more ideas!!”
