Applications for the Best Wine Capital 2023 Best Wine Tourism Awards for Wine Producers, Wine Experience and Wine Fairs are now open.
The annual international competition is designed to recognize the best wine factories in every member of the Great Wine Capital Global Network. Seven different categories viz:
• Accommodation
• Wine tourism restaurants
• Sustainable wine tourism practices
• Architecture and landscape
• Art and culture
• New wine tourism experiences
• Wine tourism services
South Africa’s unique history requires more prizes to celebrate the changes taking place in the wine tourism industry.
The WWF Pioneer Award, which recognizes culture and heritage, as well as leaders who make new efforts to ensure sustainability and protection in the field, will be supported by WWF South Africa with financial support from Pamela and Neville Isdale. It aims to highlight the important role of eco and social sustainability in the development and implementation of relevant and competitive tourism offerings for the new generation.
They are Ambassador Awards.:
• Wine Tourism Diversity Award
• Real South African Experience Award
• WWF Protection Pioneer Award
Carolyn Martin, Founder and Marketing Director of Creative Wine, and Regional Winners of the Best Wine Tourism Awards Reviews: The team is proud to have won the 2022 International Tour for Wine Tourism Restaurants and the Regional Winner of the 2022 Wine Tourism Service.
