MIAMI, FL, USA , Dec. 16, 2022 /EINPresswire.com/ — Miami fashionistas were delighted to see the latest Donna Lea design collection at the Faith & Fashion Show held at the University of St. Thomas. The event is based on the book “House of Faith and Fashion: What My Closet Taught Me About GD” by Toby Rubinstein. Rubinstein, fashion industry titan Fern Mallis and fashion style icon Iris Apfel, both call her a “fashion rabbi.”

Rubinstein spoke with the program head of the School of Business Fashion and Merchandising at the University of St. Thomas about two seemingly unlikely subjects — faith and fashion. As part of the conversation, Rubinstein said, “I guess I’ll make you feel less guilty about going shopping.

As part of a fashion conversation moderated by Rubinstein, Donna Leah Designs (www.donnaleahdesigns.com) showcased key pieces from her current collection.

“I’m so excited to be a part of this fashion event considering the many ways women dress and embrace fashion. We’re all individuals with different tastes, interests and cultures. It’s exciting to be a part of something that broadens the conversation and embraces the current inclusive movement. Working with Toby is a great way to believe and It’s about bringing more awareness to fashion, and I’m looking forward to the future!” Donna Leah said.

Highlights included key pieces from the evening wear collection. A stunning shawl and bold color design of Donna Lea’s Green Goddess gown, exudes confidence with a jeweled neck design. The room erupted as an orange sundress was modeled. This style is created with bright orange color and amazing movement sleeves.

Other key evening wear highlights included a long-sleeve silver sequin gown with luxurious scarf detailing. Perfect for winter, whatever the weather, it was a stunning blue sequin dress with stunning sleeves and a cape. The white beaded as well as multi-colored ensemble received compliments from the adoring audience.

Donna Lea also showcased her latest Sparky For Hoodies collection. The newly launched designs from the gown collection showcase luxurious fabrics in a casual yet elegant way. In addition, it was also an easy choice to wear two-piece ensembles.

Donna Lea, decked out in a detailed gold beading and fringed long-sleeve dress, proudly stood alongside the models during the finale. “This is an amazing collection of dynamic members of the fashion industry in Miami. My collection truly embodies the colors and vibrancy of the city. I’m happy to be a part of this special event that speaks to the elegance and fashion of modest designs,” said the designer.
