The annual moral courage dinner will be held on May 11

More than 50 guests joined the Holocaust Museum Houston and TOTC on Wednesday, February 22nd for Fashion Forward. Attendees enjoyed light bites and dining while learning about the museum’s annual Lyndon Baines Johnson Moral Courage Award Dinner and learning about the latest trends in Houston luxury. The special evening featured remarks from 2023 Dinner Chair Bill Baldwin, followed by a presentation from 2023 Dinner Chair and Tooties Creative Director Fadi Armanius.

The style guru shared a variety of options for a black-and-white-themed black-and-white dinner, set for Thursday, May 11, at the Hilton Americas-Houston. Guests were wowed by the selection of designers from Alexander McQueen, Elie Saab, Kite and more.

Baldwin and Armani, along with Host Committee Chairs Stacey Sofer Gomar and Louis F. Gomar, co-chaired this year’s Moral Courage Awards Dinner honoring scientists Dr. Peter Hotez and Dr. Maria Elena Botazzi.

Hotez and Botazzi serve as co-directors of the Vaccine Development Center at Texas Children’s Hospital and as dean and associate dean of the National School of Tropical Medicine at Baylor College of Medicine. The evening will conclude with a performance by award-winning actress and singer Vanessa Williams.

The HMH Annual Dinner is the largest fundraising event of the year and raises vital funds to support the institution. Contributions from this event provide essential funding for the museum’s priorities – Holocaust and human rights education and outreach.
