“That increase in digital transformation has prompted more consumers to use a variety of local transportation and mobility apps,” the study said, adding, “We saw a 15% increase in apps for paying for train, bus and taxi rides, and a 12% increase in the use of apps to book micromobility trips.”

With year-end inflation flirting with airfares, it shows an unstoppable desire to travel.
