Cummins Inc. unveils new satellite office and technology center The company says will “continue to support Cummins’ future success and growth.”
The Columbus-based company announced Tuesday that the new office space, called the Cummins Atlanta Hub, will be located in Atlanta, Georgia near the Georgia Institute of Technology and several historically black colleges and universities.
The new office space will initially be home to members of the supply chain planning team and information technology team, and will house more teams in the future, Cummins said.
“For Cummins to be successful, we must attract, build and retain people to solve the challenges our customers and communities face today and tomorrow, and to create an inclusive environment where our people and innovation can thrive,” said Cummins President and CEO Jennifer Ramsey. press release. “The opening of our Atlanta office is a clear reflection of Cummins’ continued investments and efforts in our current and future employees and our community.”
The new Cummins satellite site is expected to provide opportunities for new talent to experience Cummins’ culture of collaboration and communication, developing a diverse workforce through improved ways of working that support work-life integration, safety and retention, the company said.
The Hub will hold significant local incentives, including additional connectivity to existing Atlanta-based Cummins facilities, and will allow employees and products to have a major transportation corridor to connect with customers and dealers in the region, the company said.
