Citi will launch a new portal called Citi Travel with booking.com to help customers plan and book their trips, according to the bank’s press release.

It comes as Americans are eager to travel, but many Americans have reported waiting for promotions to book trips.

The new platform leverages Booking.com’s scale and reach, and offers more hotel booking options.

Other benefits include a digital platform that allows members to compare hotel and car rental options through an online platform. Customers can earn rewards points using the platform, and how they pay for their travel, including using their cards or rewards points or a combination of the two.

Booking.com has had a good time with business lately, including seeing $4.3 billion in revenue for the second quarter.

That was a 99 percent increase from a year ago, and was the first quarter since the outbreak to do better than the corresponding 2019 period.

On the earnings call, the company said its aim is to focus more on its direct business of connected travel and internal payment initiatives.

Glenn Fogel, the company’s chief executive, said there was still some fog around the macroeconomic environment, along with questions about how consumer demand would hold up. But he said he was “encouraged” by the current trends.

Fogle said that in the second quarter, total bookings through the payment platform were 38%, the highest since rolling out the feature.

“We continue to grow payments through our property partners, with properties receiving payments over 60% of total Q2 total bookings,” said Fogel.
