Cindy D’Aust named president of American Queen Voyages: Travel Weekly

American Queen Voyages has named Cynthia D’Aust as president, effective October 3.

D’Aoust succeeds acting president David Giersdorf, who was appointed to that interim role in May.

Most recently, D’Aoust served as president of hospitality at Cape Resorts Management Company, Cape May, NJ and The Hamptons on Long Island, New York. D’Aoust was the global president and CEO of the Cruise Lines International Association (CLIA) from 2015 to 2018.

She has nearly 40 years of travel and hospitality experience.

D’Aoust is responsible for developing and implementing American Queen Voyages’ business strategy, driving growth for the leadership team and overseeing innovation efforts, performance and guest satisfaction.
