A new podcast aimed at encouraging young people to get started

An exciting new self-discovery podcast for South African youth has been launched in all major venues today.

Jacaranda FM and East Coast Radio host the first podcast of its kind and offer exciting audio series – ‘Don’t delay – speak out loud’ – as accessible to as many young people as possible.

Deutsche Welle conducted more than 20 hours of in-depth interviews with South African youth. From Fighting Debt and Sexual Assault, To Fight Toxic Relationships and Depression, this youth podcast covers real-world topics related to balanced young people.

“The information gathered in the podcast highlights the fact that urban South Africans often feel lonely. ‘Do Not Hold Back – Speak Out’ Jakeranda FM Managing Director Deir King said he has been a voice partner to help young people find their own way, but real-life stories and advice can be applied on a monthly basis.

King added: “Targeted audience interviews show the demographics and psychology of young people that all marketers can solve.

‘Do Not Hold Back – Speak Out’ It targets urban young people between the ages of 20-35, who are often the star of the family (originally a university student). These young people want their families in rural areas to start successful careers and learn how to develop their careers and personalities while coping with their academic pressures. Many teens under the age of 35 are listening to podcasts to start their day with positive energy as they fight anxiety and depression without professional help.

The new podcast will be presented by a well-known health activist – Nozibele Kamgana-Mayaba Creating a safe haven for young South Africans to discuss issues that are important to them. The show aims to inspire audiences through the personal stories of strangers who share their story of overcoming adversity, and by doing so – it encourages audiences under the age of 35 to do the same.

Format

The format is simple but the content is Gucci and informative. If you think ‘Gucci’ is an Italian fashion brand – this podcast may not be for you: As the title of the podcast begins, the food is especially valuable to the guest who shares it with Nozibele. Each session will feature a fun, fast-paced firefighting session in which the guest will be able to answer questions from Nozibele.

‘Do Not Hold Back – Speak Out’ Both are audio and video production. During the month of launch, episodes 1 and 2 will be released on July 6 and 13, respectively. After that, a new episode will air every month until the end of March 2023.
