Welcome to the Machine Parts, Cleaning and Environmental Pavilion, which brings all of the shop’s clean, safe and convenient products under one convenient drop-down at the IMTS 2022 Show Planner – even if it’s not the same floor or building. Here you’ll find chucks and work gloves, oil skimmers and electrical connectors, chemicals and parts washers, and more. And yes, you will see some Big Ass fans. There isn’t enough space to highlight everything, but we’ve identified a few products and solutions that might interest you. For the rest, walk.

Easy breathing

Raleigh, NC’s Air Purification Inc. Products has been making shop air fresheners since 1985. It offers air filter units, drop tables, dust collectors, fumes and extraction equipment and vehicle exhaust solutions from the likes of BMW, Delta and GE. If you come home after a long day of work to find your pockets full of grills and a t-shirt covered in little burn holes, you’ll want to visit booth 339347 on Level 3 of the South Building, the temporary home. Do not feed animals

Machines that use water-based cutting fluids know (or should know) the importance of keeping these fluids clean and well-maintained, and that means keeping microbe-friendly tramp oils out of the reservoir. One of the easiest ways to do this is with an oil skimmer. As you might guess from the name, Cleveland Oil Skimmers Inc. has many products for removing tramp oil, but also offers outdoor tank and drum-type skimmers as well as custom-engineered ones. Keep clean

It is a sad fact that machined parts must be thoroughly cleaned when finished. Fortunately, ultrasonic cleaning is an excellent way to accomplish this. If you visit Booth 121400, Level 2 of the East Building, you will find several of these unit washer and dryer systems on display. Cincinnati-based Cleaning Technologies Group is a global supplier of such systems, representing a wide range of aqueous, ultrasonic and multi-stage cleaning solutions for the medical, semiconductor, aerospace, automotive and other industrial markets. And for companies that don’t yet have a proven cleaning process, the Cleaning Technologies team has laboratories and clean room facilities available to simulate spray, immersion, ultrasonic and megasonic cleaning technologies and provide you with accurate test data.

Defense units

And once these parts are cleaned, it’s a good idea to cover them with soft materials like yarn and journals. What’s on the radio?

Although not as high-flying as NASA, in Hebron, Ky. HBC-radiomatic Inc., also has some good stuff.
