Some companies, however, continue to find success by raising new capital to support their growth.

As has been true for the past two years, companies in cybersecurity (Bishop Fox and Swimlane) and big data (SingleStore and Neon) make up a disproportionate share of the companies pulling in venture funding on the July list.

But July’s list also includes developers in the machine learning and deep learning space (Tecton and DC), edge computing technology providers (Scale Computing and Zedda), and developers of next-generation transistors (FinWave Semiconductor) and application delivery network technology. Fly.io).

Bishop Fox was founded in It is in 2005, for example, the scale calculation was started in 2007. Single Storage in 2011, FinWave Semiconductor in 2012 and Swimlane in 2014. Others that made the list were founded between 2016 and 2019. Database Only – As – A is the latest startup from service developer Neon, founded in 2021.
